The fine print, in plain words

Privacy Policy

Pipe It Up Events ("Pipe It Up", "we", "us") builds drapery for weddings and events in Oklahoma. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, our client portal and our forms, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Details you give us: your name, email, phone number, event date, venue, the pieces you mark on the Set List and anything you write in a message.

Details your browser sends: pages visited, the referring site, and basic device and browser information, used to understand how the site is used. We keep this in our own systems.

How we use it

To price and plan your event, open and run your client portal, send your proposal, contract, invoices and reminders, and answer your questions. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise for anyone else.

Who else sees it

Only the services that help us do the work: our email sender, our payment processor (Stripe, which handles card details directly; we never see or store your full card number) and our file storage. If you also book our Bar-Key family for your bar, we may share the event details both teams need to work your night.

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep out spam. It checks that a person is sending the form, and Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in to your portal, remember choices you make on the site, and count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; the portal needs them to keep you signed in.

Keeping it safe

Portal links are private to you and expire. Access is limited to the people who need it to plan your event. No system is perfect, so tell us right away if you think your portal link was shared by mistake.

Your choices

Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emails that aren't about a booking you have with us. Email pipeitupevents@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. We keep what the law requires for bookkeeping and tax records.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
